Dipika Chopra
Dipika
Chopra is based in New Delhi, India and is responsible for identifying companies
benefiting from the growth in India domestic consumer services including media,
technology, entertainment, retail and healthcare. She has over 15 years of experience
in marketing and operations in both Fortune 100 and start-up internet companies.
Prior to relocating to India, Dipika was based in Silicon Valley for 6 years
as Vice President, Clubmom Inc., where under Dipika’s leadership Clubmom
grew from less than 10,000 members to over 1 million members.
Prior to Dipika’s entrepreneurial experiences, she held several senior
leadership positions with larger Fortune 500 firms including Pillsbury (now
General Mills) where she oversaw their consumer marketing strategy for Asia
Pacific. Before joining Pillsbury's international division, she worked with
Pillsbury's domestic division as brand manager for several major lines with
responsibility for brand positioning, product development, advertising and promotions.
Dipika was also the Vice President, at Do Something from 1994-1996, the premier
provider of youth-led leadership and citizenship initiatives in schools. Dipika’s
first entrepreneurial experience came as co-founder of Orion Marketing, the
first telemarketing company in India which was acquired by Essar.
Dipika holds a B.A. and a M.A. in Economics from University of Delhi, India
and a Masters in International Business from Columbia University, NY.
