John Reardon is a Managing Director of Trident Capital. His career with Trident began in 2008 when he joined the firm as a Venture Partner.
At Trident, John focuses on Healthcare Information Technology and Business Services companies. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board for PeriGen and also serves on the boards of Advanced ICU Care, HealthMEDX, TelaDoc, and Aethon.
In addition to his board work for Trident, John is active in coaching and mentoring entrepreneurs and serves on the Innovation Advisory Boards of the Cleveland Clinic and the University of California, Los Angeles Health System.
John has built a career as a Healthcare and Technology executive. He has co-founded or led successful start-ups and has run mature divisions of larger organizations. Prior to Trident, John was the CEO of CliniComp International and, earlier, was an Operating Partner of JP Morgan Partners. As an Operating Partner, John supported JPMP investments by taking interim operating roles or active Board roles with companies including: fusionOne, Tidal Software, Narus, Determine Software, Above-All Software, Call Vision and NinthHouse Network. Earlier in his career, John was an executive with the St. Joseph Healthcare System; the co-founder of Value Health Management; the co-founder of Health Economics Data Systems Division; and a Manager in the Healthcare Consulting Practice of Deloitte and Touche.
Raised in Arizona, John holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. in History from Arizona State University, and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). John and his wife, Amy, have three children and when not working, John enjoys hiking, skiing, and golf.
