Michael Biggee is a Managing Director of Trident Capital. Michael joined Trident in 2005 to focus on investments in IT Security, Cloud and Enterprise IT. Currently, he serves on the boards of Fruition Partners, Host Analytics and Voltage Security (announced to be acquired by HP). Michael is also currently a board observer at AlienVault, BlueCat Networks and HyTrust.
Michael’s past directorships and observerships include Arxan Technologies (acquired by TA Associates), Prolexic (acquired by Akamai), Solera Networks (acquired by Blue Coat) and Tablus (acquired by EMC).
Michael began his investing career in 2001 with Dolphin Equity Partners, a New York based private equity firm specializing in technology and services investments. Earlier in his career, Michael worked in the technology investment banking group at Merrill Lynch.
An east coast native, Michael earned a B.S. and Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys playing golf, tirelessly rooting for his hometown Buffalo Bills, and hiking the parks of California with his wife and three young children.
